Performance Psychology Consultant

Adam has over a decade of experience in the fitness and wellness industry and obtained his M.S. in Kinesiology. He decided to turn his attention towards mental health and performance enhancement, earning a PhD at the University of Western States in Education/Sport Performance Psychology. He uses an individual approach for his client-athletes by identifying issues and hearing their concerns before selection of interventions. The goals of his consulting style are to maintain the well-being of the performer and enhance their overall performance. This is done with mental skills training (MST). It is important to understand that these skills do well to position the athlete above their competition allowing their physical skills to operate with no mental hang ups. However, training the mind is not limited to its utility on the field or the court. Learning how to cope with stress and manage emotions under pressure applies to life.  MST can be seen as a preventive measure for mental health concerns and equip individuals with the tools needed to regulate their own psychology.
